Fresh Faces Model Call

A limited portrait opportunity for children ages 1–12

 

I'm looking for a small number of fresh faces to build a gallery of new work for my upcoming Just For a Little While portrait project. I need real kids with real personalities. Not posed. Not perfect. Just them, exactly as they are right now.

If you've been thinking about capturing this stage your child is in and just haven't found the right moment, this is it. Families who join this gallery build receive something extra from me as a personal thank-you for being part of the project.

What you pay & what you get:

Booking Fee: $400

Included:

  • A full personality portrait session in the studio on a black background

  • guided image selection

  • custom artwork design

  • $400 credit toward printed artwork of your choice

My gift to you (my personal thank-you for helping me build this gallery of work) :

  • Digital files of my favorite images from your session (I had to lie down after making this decision). Here's something you should know about me: I am deeply, sincerely, perhaps unreasonably passionate about printed artwork. I have built my entire studio around getting portraits off screens and onto walls where they belong.

    So when I say I'm including digital files, I need you to understand the magnitude of that statement.

  • An extra $100 gift credit on top of your $400 artwork credit. (Because I really don’t want those beautiful images to be printed at Walgreens.)

I'm looking for:

I need a variety of ages from 1–11 and a variety of personalities: the wild ones, the quiet ones, the ones who make everyone laugh, and the ones who take everything very seriously. Every child has a personality worth celebrating. I want to find the kids whose quirks are begging to be captured right now, at exactly this age.

I'm sharing this with my community first before the Just For a Little While project launches publicly. Spots are very limited, and selections will be made from applications received. I'll do my best to respond to everyone.

A quick note on what "model call" means around here:

No modeling experience needed — just real kids with real personalities.

This is also not a free session. I charge a booking fee because I want families who are serious about walking away with something beautiful.
